The exchange says Bitcoin-to-Indian rupee trading will begin on Coinbase Exchange before expanding to its main website, mobile app, and advanced platform.
Coinbase has announced support for a BTC-INR trading pair for users in India, adding direct Bitcoin (a decentralized digital asset) access against the Indian rupee. The pair will first go live on Coinbase Exchange, then roll out to Coinbase.com, the Coinbase App, and Coinbase Advanced (professional trading platform). The move broadens Coinbase’s local-market offering and gives Indian users another way to trade Bitcoin in their domestic currency.
