Status AI said it has raised a total of $17 million through seed and Series A funding rounds. The company named General Catalyst, Y Combinator, LightShed Partners and Abstract as investors. It also said users on its platform have created more than 13 million worlds and over 5 million character profiles, metrics that point to significant user-generated activity.
