JPYC said on the 22nd that its yen stablecoin was officially integrated into Unifi, the Web3 wallet operated by LINE NEXT. According to the announcement, this is the first case in Japan of JPYC being used on the Kaia network (blockchain platform tied to LINE) through the LINE app. The move expands JPYC’s reach within a consumer-facing digital wallet environment and links the stablecoin to a messaging ecosystem that is being used to distribute Web3 services.
