According to the announcement, YZi Labs’ latest 10-week residency will bring Web3, AI, and Biotech founders to Gelephu Mindfulness City as Bhutan expands its international business and digital finance framework.
YZi Labs, formerly Binance Labs, has opened applications for EASY Residency Season 4, with founders able to apply until June 21, 2026. According to the announcement, the 10-week program will include five weeks online and five weeks in person, and for the first time will physically bring the cohort to Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) in Bhutan. Accepted founders can receive up to $500,000 in funding, with housing, meals, and workspace covered during the residency. The program has operated since Season 1 launched in mid-2025 and usually focuses on Web3, with additional emphasis on global payments, AI, and Biotech. The announcement also links the move to Bhutan’s broader effort to position GMC as a Special Administrative Region for international investors and technology firms, citing a May 12 double taxation avoidance agreement with Singapore, RedotPay’s May 21 plan to establish a local presence under GMC’s regulatory framework, and BTSE Bhutan’s previously reported in-principle approval from the Gelephu Financial Services Office.
