Aave, MetaMask and Mastercard have launched a debit card in Europe that allows users to spend yield-bearing assets held through Aave at merchants that accept Mastercard. Supported assets include mUSD, USDC, wETH and USDT. According to the new details, Linea provides instant settlement, and the card converts Aave-held assets into fiat at the moment of payment. The product is positioned as a way to let users continue earning yield while using crypto-linked funds for everyday spending, extending the earlier partnership with a live regional rollout and specific payment infrastructure.
