The sale generated a reported profit of $2.5 million over the whale’s original $5 million purchase cost. Onchain Lens said the wallet had held the position for more than 1.5 months before exiting. The transaction highlights how large token holders, often called whales, can realize sizable gains from short-term price appreciation in the digital asset market.
