Cake Wallet said its expansion beyond a single-asset wallet was supported by ChangeNOW (crypto exchange service), which helped add in-wallet swaps across multiple assets. According to the post, the product grew from 15,000 downloads to more than 1.75 million users while preserving a self-custodial model, meaning users keep control of their own private keys. The company presented the integration as a way to broaden asset support without sacrificing privacy or usability.
