Gold and silver moved lower in the latest Gate data, alongside declines in volatility gauges and WTI crude, while the dollar edged up against the yuan. Gold fell 0.27% to $4,459.81 per ounce and silver slipped 0.1% to $73.243. BVIX dropped 2.8% to 46.46 and EVIX declined 1.3% to 58.27, pointing to softer market volatility than in the previous update. In currency markets, USD/CNH rose 0.02% to 6.77768. WTI crude eased 0.16% to $94.69 per barrel.
