The former ConsenSys ambassador split the holdings across 10 new addresses, while 4,144 ETH from one address was later deposited to Coinsquare, PANews reported citing Ai Yi.
Russell Verbeeten, identified as a former ConsenSys ambassador, withdrew 20,426 ETH worth $37.26 million from Aave (crypto lending protocol) and spread the funds across 10 new addresses. PANews, citing on-chain analyst Ai Yi, said the activity occurred seven hours earlier on June 4. The holdings reportedly trace back 10 years and carry a cost basis as low as $5.6, underscoring how early Ethereum positions can translate into large paper gains. Of the redistributed funds, 4,144 ETH from one address has been deposited to Coinsquare, while the remaining ETH had not been moved or sold at the time of the report.
