Ripple has widened the reach of its RLUSD stablecoin by integrating with Wormhole, a cross-chain interoperability protocol that connects more than 40 blockchain networks. The move makes RLUSD available through Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers framework, a system designed to let tokens move across chains while preserving a native issuance model rather than relying on wrapped versions. The expansion matters because stablecoins are increasingly used across multiple blockchain ecosystems, and broader interoperability can improve liquidity, payments utility, and access for decentralized applications.
