Users with confirmed liquidation or stop-out losses on EDGE long positions between 4:50 and 6:00 on June 2 were eligible for up to 100,000 USDC, with a final claims deadline set for June 9.
edgeX said it has completed compensation payouts for eligible users affected by the June 2 event. The plan covers confirmed losses from liquidations or stop-outs on EDGE long positions between 4:50 and 6:00 on June 2, with compensation capped at 100,000 USDC per user. Half is being paid in USDC now, while the remaining 50% will be distributed in EDGE in the first week of April 2027, priced using the seven-day average at the time of distribution. The final deadline to file claims is 14:00 Beijing time on June 9. In perpetual futures markets, positions can be closed automatically when margin levels are breached, making liquidation events especially sensitive during sharp price swings.
