US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted another modest net outflow on June 11, while US spot Ethereum ETFs logged a third straight day of withdrawals on June 12 despite an inflow into ETHA.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded another day of net withdrawals on June 11, with Farside data showing a $22.5 million net outflow after the previous session's much larger selling. BlackRock's IBIT attracted $30.3 million, but that was outweighed by outflows from Ark Invest and 21Shares' ARKB at $27.2 million, BITB at $13.1 million, FBTC at $5.5 million and HODL at $0.148 million. Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF BTC and MSBT posted inflows of $5.6 million and $2.2 million, respectively. US spot Ethereum ETFs then posted a $15.9 million net outflow on June 12, extending their losing streak to three consecutive sessions. ETHA recorded an $8.6 million net inflow, but that was offset by a $20.5 million net outflow from FETH and a $4 million net outflow from Grayscale ETH. The updates broadly align with earlier reporting that June outflows have persisted even as daily selling pressure in crypto ETFs has eased materially from the prior session's roughly $214 million Bitcoin ETF withdrawal. Total net assets for the US spot Bitcoin ETF segment were previously reported at $79.498 billion, after having fallen sharply from May levels alongside Bitcoin's price. JPMorgan analysts have linked the broader pullback to a retreat from the debasement trade across gold, Bitcoin ETFs and futures.
