The financial infrastructure company is rolling out Chain-Traded Products, an on-chain analogue to ETPs, as it builds compliant crypto derivatives and yield products for institutional investors.
TVL Capital has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Framework Ventures, with participation from institutions including Flow Traders, as it develops compliant and composable derivatives, diversified yield structures and a new category it calls Chain-Traded Products for institutional investors. The company says CTPs are designed as an on-chain equivalent of ETPs, extending structured-market tools into decentralized finance. Co-founder Lars, a former traditional finance structured-derivatives trader who previously priced alternative derivatives at BNP Paribas and Credit Suisse, said DeFi has yet to rebuild tools comparable to traditional structured products. The raise and product launch highlight continued investor interest in infrastructure aimed at bringing more familiar, regulation-conscious market architecture to digital assets for professional allocators.
