Summary

Bitget Stocks 2.0 has launched weekend trading for a first batch of 20 U.S. stock tokens, extending access beyond regular exchange hours and marketing the service as 24/7 trading. The lineup includes rNVDA, rAAPL, rAMZN, rGOOGL, rMSFT, rMETA, rTSLA, rAMD, rAVGO, rSOXL, rINTC, rMU, rDRAM, rSNDK, rMRVL, rLITE, rNOK, rAAOI, rRKLB and rASTS. Weekend trading is limited to selected stocks rather than all listings, while other stocks continue to follow normal exchange hours. The platform said the weekend session opens every Saturday at 8:00 AM (UTC+8) during Daylight Saving Time and 9:00 AM (UTC+8) during Standard Time, then runs continuously until U.S. markets reopen on Monday, with the on-platform session beginning as soon as U.S. after-hours trading ends on Friday. Because NYSE and NASDAQ are closed on weekends, prices are based primarily on Friday’s closing price along with market maker quotes and expectations for future moves, meaning weekend quotes are indicative rather than live exchange-matched prices. Bitget said prices will re-anchor to the underlying stock’s live price when regular markets reopen, and gaps at Monday’s open are possible. The service supports limit orders and preset TP/SL (take-profit and stop-loss) orders, allows T+0 selling (same-day position closing), keeps rToken (stock token) deposits and withdrawals open through the weekend, and treats weekend purchases as holdings with the economic rights of the underlying asset. Cash dividends will be converted to USDT and credited to users’ spot accounts. Transaction fees remain the same as weekday spot stock trading, while unfilled weekend limit orders will be canceled automatically when the market switches back to regular trading mode on Monday. Bitget also said there are no fixed price limits during weekend trading, but the system applies an approximately ±20% limit-order range versus the reference closing price at session switchover to curb abnormal swings and protect price integrity.
