
The Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures venue signaled stronger Monday openings for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which later rose more than 6% in early South Korean trading as the KOSPI and Japan’s Nikkei 225 opened higher.
Trade.xyz, a Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures DEX, showed weekend pricing that pointed to a stronger Monday open for South Korean stocks Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, and the cash market later opened with both names up more than 6% in early trading. Trade.xyz had shown Samsung Electronics at $224.6 versus $212 on Friday and SK Hynix at $1,520 versus $1,415, implying gains of more than 6% and about 7.4%, respectively. South Korea’s KOSPI opened up 425.23 points, or 5.23%, at 8,548.85, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 858.13 points, or 1.30%, to 66,878.17. SpaceX (SPCX) was reported at $166.5 in one account versus $166.85 in Friday after-hours trading, while a later update said it rose above $173 on June 15, about 3.7% above that after-hours reference. MU, SNDK, Nvidia, MRVL, Intel, Google and AMD were also described as modestly higher over the weekend.
