The Shanghai Composite climbed 0.4% and the Shenzhen Component gained 1.31%, with PCB, semiconductor and glass substrate stocks leading advances while coal shares fell.
China's A-share market rebounded from an initial decline to finish broadly higher, with the Shanghai Composite rising 0.4%, the Shenzhen Component gaining 1.31%, and the ChiNext Index adding 1.56%. Combined turnover in Shanghai and Shenzhen reached CNY 3.09 trillion, up CNY 27.1 billion from the previous session. Buying was concentrated in PCB, semiconductor and glass substrate stocks, while coal shares retreated.
