OKX Wallet users can now trade xStocks’ onchain equities directly on X Layer, as OKX signals plans to bring more RWA assets into the network.
xStocks-related assets have been deployed on X Layer, the network under OKX, allowing OKX Wallet users to trade xStocks tokenized stock assets directly onchain with a limited-time zero service fee offer. xStocks is described as one of the larger platforms by trading volume in the onchain tokenized stock segment, and its assets use a 1:1 custody model backed by physical shares. OKX said more RWA (real-world asset) products are expected to join the X Layer ecosystem in the future, broadening the range of traditional financial assets represented onchain.
