Hong Kong Cyberport is set to launch OPC Hub, a support program aimed at one-person companies and small teams focused on artificial intelligence, intelligent agents and blockchain. Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau said the hub will provide dedicated workspace and other support, including cloud services, model usage quotas and AI inference resources, to reduce the cost of early-stage product development and testing for AI startups, including one-person companies. The move highlights Hong Kong’s effort to lower barriers for very small digital technology ventures as it competes to attract innovation businesses.
