The expansion lets developers move USDC directly between Stellar and other supported networks through Circle’s cross-chain transfer protocol.
Circle has extended its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, or CCTP, to the Stellar network, making Stellar the protocol’s 27th domain. The addition allows developers to transfer USDC directly between Stellar and other chains already supported by CCTP, broadening interoperability for applications that move stablecoins across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
