U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran had been badly weakened by war and was now seeking a meeting, while Washington was not in a hurry to engage and would maintain its 60-day position. He said Iran no longer had an air force, navy, air defense equipment or radar, rejected claims that Tehran was in a better position than four months ago, and said Iran would not receive any money. Trump also said about 700 ships transit the Strait of Hormuz and warned that if Iran did not reach a deal within 60 days, the United States would take actions "they won't be happy about," while adding he did not think it would come to that. He said oil flows through the chokepoint could stop if missiles and mines disrupt shipping.
