The protocol said it is in the final stage of recovery, verifying node key shares under a new KeyVerify process before moving funds to new vaults and restoring trading.
THORChain remains halted more than a month after a security incident, but the protocol said it has entered the final stage of recovery. Each node’s key-share integrity is being checked under a new KeyVerify protocol before any funds are moved, after which assets will be transferred to new vaults. THORChain said that process could take hours to days, and only then will asset transfers, liquidity provider operations and trading be re-enabled. The update adds a clearer recovery sequence and tentative timeline after earlier indications that voting had begun on a plan to respond to the attack incident.
