Summary

Kraken said eligible U.S. clients will soon be able to trade CFTC-regulated perpetual futures through Bitnomial, with the products expected to launch within the next 30 days. The contracts are set to be listed on Bitnomial, a CFTC (U.S. derivatives regulator)-regulated Designated Contract Market, recently acquired by Payward, and are expected at launch to cover BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, LINK, DOGE, LTC and AVAX. The exchange said the products will sit alongside spot margin and CME-listed futures in a unified Kraken Pro wallet, giving active traders a single interface for collateral, spot holdings and derivatives exposure. Kraken framed the move as a way to bring a heavily traded offshore crypto instrument into a domestic regulated structure for eligible U.S. users rather than broad retail access at launch. The report said traders will be watching whether the rollout arrives on schedule, how broad the eligibility criteria prove to be, and whether liquidity builds fast enough to challenge offshore perpetual futures markets.
