Micron is expected to report about 1,000% profit growth, with AI-driven chip demand supporting the outlook and a researcher arguing Citi’s product-pricing assumptions may be too conservative.
Micron Technology is expected to report roughly 1,000% profit growth, reflecting strong artificial intelligence-related chip demand, and could still outperform quarterly expectations if consensus forecasts are based on Citi’s earnings-preview assumptions, according to Citrini researcher Jukan. Jukan said Citi’s assumptions for Micron’s product average selling prices appeared too conservative. Separately, several firms raised their Micron price targets, with Citi at $1,200, Wedbush at $1,300, and Deutsche Bank and Stifel at $1,500.
