The first round of talks between Iran and the United States has ended, PANews reported, citing Xinhua. The brief update identifies the conclusion of an initial negotiating session but does not provide details on the venue, participants, agenda, results or the timing of any next round. The development nonetheless marks a procedural step in diplomacy, as first-round talks typically establish the scope for subsequent negotiations rather than settle core disputes immediately.
