Toss Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation in Seoul on June 19 to test global remittance and settlement infrastructure built on Solana. The effort will also examine stablecoin use for cross-border payments, a common crypto payments model that aims to speed transfers and reduce settlement friction. Toss Bank is identified as South Korea’s third-largest internet-only bank.
