The company said the network will not shut at the end of this month, pledged ongoing funding for its cross-chain bridge, and named Matt Visser CEO and Kosta Kourkoumelis COO.
Sonic Labs said the Fantom Opera network will not shut down at the end of this month and will continue operating through at least the end of this year, updating an earlier timeline that had support running through the end of 2026. The company also said the related cross-chain bridge will continue to receive regular funding during that period, helping maintain asset transfers between networks. Separately, Sonic named Matt Visser as chief executive officer and Kosta Kourkoumelis as chief operating officer, and said it would improve transparency around team responsibilities as well as community communication and support.
