U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and spot Ethereum ETFs extended daily withdrawal streaks as Bitcoin fell below $60,000 amid tech-led risk-off pressure, persistent fund redemptions and weaker crypto sentiment.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $114 million in net outflows on June 23, extending their withdrawal streak to four consecutive trading days, according to SoSoValue, while spot Ethereum ETFs lost $82.351 million for a fourth straight day of outflows. The ETF weakness came as Bitcoin slid more than 4% to as low as $59,023.98, its lowest level since Oct. 10, 2024 and the third time this year it has traded below $60,000. Broader fund-flow data pointed to sustained investor caution: U.S. Bitcoin ETFs saw $6.4 billion in outflows over the past 30 days, the largest such stretch on record, and had lost $182 million so far this week after $233 million of withdrawals last week. Crypto funds overall posted $116 million in net weekly outflows, extending a multweek redemption streak. Total assets in Bitcoin ETFs have fallen to $77.5 billion from about $113 billion at the end of last year.
