Alfred Ramosedi elected 93rd CIMA President and Association Co-Chair

The South African finance executive will also become the 11th Co-Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants after CIMA’s 24 June 2026 annual meeting.

Alfred Ramosedi, FCMA, CGMA, was elected the 93rd President of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants on 24 June 2026 and will also serve as the 11th Co-Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the alliance created by CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs. During his presidential year, Ramosedi said he will focus on the future of finance and accounting, trust in the profession, AI-enabled work, and opportunities for the next generation. Dr Matthew Hansard, FCMA, CGMA, was elected CIMA Deputy President at the same meeting. Ramosedi, a South African business leader, brings more than three decades of experience across financial and professional services, including senior roles at Nedbank Limited, ABSA Bank, African Bank and Bayport Financial Services – South Africa.
