Voltage Energy Group presented its utility-scale solar EBOS (electrical balance of system) portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, centering on the LYNX PLUS and IBEX PLUS pre-assembled cable-harness systems. The company said it is expanding from standalone cabling products to system-level EBOS packages designed to help developers and EPCs (engineering, procurement and construction contractors) simplify project design, reduce installation complexity and improve long-term reliability as solar plants shift to higher-power, higher-voltage architectures. Compared with traditional cable-by-cable wiring, the solutions can reduce cable consumption by up to 33% and cut installation time by up to 50%, according to the company. Voltage Energy said LYNX PLUS supports main cable sizes up to 400 mm², or 853 A, reduces voltage drop by up to 34% versus conventional 240 mm² designs and removes the need for traditional combiner boxes. IBEX PLUS is aimed at mid-current applications of 70–168 A and, with a design using 97% flexible aluminum cable, is up to 41% lighter than conventional copper alternatives and can lower CapEx (capital expenditure) by up to 27%. The company also said both LYNX PLUS and IBEX PLUS have obtained UL 2 kV certification in the United States, while European certification is underway.
