The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and MSD said they will explore establishing a regional logistics hub in Abu Dhabi’s Health, Endurance, Longevity, and Medicine (HELM) Cluster. If implementation activities are completed and applicable approvals are secured, the hub is expected to distribute a broad portfolio of products across several regional markets, with the stated aim of improving supply chain resilience, expanding access to innovative therapies and supporting the commercialization and scale-up of next-generation health innovations. The announcement was made during Abu Dhabi’s participation at BIO International Convention 2026, where the emirate is promoting its life sciences ecosystem across genomics, gene editing, AI-enabled health innovation, advanced therapeutics and rare disease.
