Oasis Labs founder Dawn Song said she will join Meta’s Meta Superintelligence Lab as vice president of AI research, marking a move from the crypto and AI startup world into one of Big Tech’s flagship AI efforts. She said multiple members of the Virtue AI team will also join the lab to advance the safety and security of frontier AI models and agentic AI systems (AI tools that can act autonomously). Song co-founded AI safety startup Virtue AI in 2024, and its co-founders Bo Li and Sanmi Koyejo are also joining Meta’s lab.
