Story rebranded as DATA Foundation, converted IP to DATA at a 1:1 ratio, launched its Trace audit platform and expanded licensed records as Poseidon widened distribution through Toss.
Poseidon, an ecosystem project tied to the newly rebranded DATA Foundation, said it has formed a strategic partnership with South Korean mobile finance platform Toss in what it described as Toss’s first Web3 and AI data collaboration. The deal gives Toss’s roughly 30 million users access to Poseidon’s Numo mini-app, where they can contribute Korean voice, image and POV behavior data in exchange for real-time pay. The broader ecosystem also announced that Story (IP) has rebranded to DATA Foundation, with IP converted to DATA on a 1:1 basis and holder numbers unchanged. DATA Foundation launched Trace, an AI training data public audit platform, and said DATA integrated with Kled to add about 1.1 billion licensed data records to DATA Network. DATA rose 28% on the day, while Poseidon also said it had completed a $15 million seed round led by a16z.
