Guangdong said it will roll out the “Beacon Over Lingnan” video series across major online platforms starting June 27, with the opening episode centered on a conversation with Fang Hongbo, Chairman and President of Midea Group. The first season will include 20 episodes grouped into four chapters covering economy, culture, science and education, and people's livelihood. Organizers said 20 guests will discuss their work and life experiences while sharing stories about Guangdong, the Greater Bay Area (southern China economic hub), and China from their own perspectives.
