The Stadorf BESS in northern Germany was unveiled at Intersolar Europe in Munich and will use Envision's Gen 8 platform as both companies expand their positions in Europe's energy storage market.
Envision Energy and Elements Green have partnered to deliver the Stadorf battery energy storage system project in northern Germany, a 400MW/1,600MWh development the companies said is among the largest battery storage projects now being developed in the country. Announced at Intersolar Europe in Munich, the project is positioned as a step forward for Envision's Future Energy System in Germany and part of Elements Green's expanding European pipeline. Envision said it will supply an integrated storage system based on its Gen 8 BESS (battery energy storage system) platform, combining four-hour duration, advanced battery technologies and intelligent grid integration. The companies said the project is intended to address complex engineering, grid connection and regulatory demands in Germany while supporting more flexible, resilient and low-carbon power infrastructure.
