Serenity said the financing supports expansion plans and that Sivers now aims to complete its Nasdaq listing process in the coming quarters, moving beyond an earlier evaluation of a dual listing.
Sivers Semiconductors completed a roughly SEK700 million capital raise that Serenity said was multiple times oversubscribed and slightly larger than originally planned. The proceeds are earmarked for capacity expansion, balance-sheet strengthening and research and development, while Serenity said most of the funding will go toward expanding InP laser and optical amplifier capacity and supporting a fab-light ramp-up. The financing was priced at SEK57 per share, below a current share price near SEK63, which Serenity said could help support the stock as institutional funds enter. Serenity also said Sivers disclosed plans to complete its Nasdaq listing process over the next few quarters, signaling a move from an evaluation stage to an execution phase with a clearer timetable. That marks a shift from April, when the company had said it was only evaluating a dual listing, and follows earlier PCAOB audit upgrades and delayed annual reporting that Serenity viewed as signs of a push toward U.S. capital markets.
