Kia said first-half U.S. sales reached a record 430,727 units as hybrid and electrified models drove gains, with full-scale sales of the all-new Seltos due to begin nationwide in July.
Kia America said it recorded its best-ever June U.S. sales at 70,507 units, up 10% year over year, lifting first-half volume to a record 430,727 units, up 3% from 416,511. The automaker said growth was driven by hybrid and electrified vehicles, with June hybrid sales up 187% and the broader electrified lineup up 118%, while retail sales rose 17%. Kia cited strong gains from models including the Sportage hybrid, Sorento hybrid, Seltos, Carnival hybrid and Telluride, and said it expects momentum to continue in the second half with the nationwide July launch of the all-new Seltos, the continued success of the 2027 Telluride, expansion of its hybrid lineup and the launch of the all-new EV3.
