The SUMEC ENERGY unit used the Munich event to unveil PV modules, storage and smart operations products, while marking its parent company's 20th anniversary and signing agreements in Spain and Italy.
PHONO said it wrapped up its appearance at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich after presenting a broad solar and energy storage lineup aimed at different parts of the global power market. The company, part of SUMEC ENERGY, tied the exhibition to its parent company's 20th anniversary in clean energy and said Chairman Guo Hongwei and CEO Zhong Zaifeng led the delegation. The product push centered on what PHONO described as a full-scenario portfolio, spanning Draco Matrix N-type TOPCon modules and Quasar BC modules for utility-scale plants, commercial rooftops and vertical installations. It also said it is the first Chinese PV brand to have its full product range certified for all scenarios by Germany's DIBt (German construction approvals body), a step it framed as important for access to Europe's premium solar market. Beyond panels, PHONO displayed a "Solar-Storage-Charging" setup built around the SCUTUM solar carport system and a modular energy storage system using iBMS (battery monitoring and control technology), designed to create a generate-store-use loop for large parking lots and European community microgrids (localized power networks). The company also featured smart O&M (operations and maintenance) tools including Lantern series cleaning robots for complex rooftops and solar fences designed to combine electricity generation with perimeter protection. PHONO used themed event days to highlight commercial credibility and sustainability efforts. It said it has been a BloombergNEF Tier 1 module maker for 13 consecutive years, was named a Top Performer in seven categories in the PVEL 2026 Scorecard and offers a 25-year performance safety net. The company also premiered the documentary The Great Journey and released its first ESG Report, alongside promotion of its SRAU (Solar Retrofit and Asset Upgrade) circular economy solutions. The company said the exhibition produced strategic cooperation agreements with leading energy enterprises in Spain and Italy, which it said would support deeper expansion in Europe. PHONO added that it will continue focusing on ultra-reliable, full-lifecycle solutions to help partners manage market cycles during the green energy transition.
