MSX.COM data showed early declines in AI-linked names, while BIT market data later pointed to opening weakness across optical communications stocks including FOTO, AAOI, LITE and CIEN.
AI-related U.S. stocks broadly moved lower in premarket trading, with MSX.COM data showing Dell down 2.79%, Marvell (MRVL) off 2.58%, Arm down 2.36%, Micron (MU) lower by 2.22% and AMD down 1.76%. The declines pointed to broad weakness across a cluster of chip and AI-linked names before the regular U.S. session.
