American Bitcoin plans a 1-for-15 reverse stock split after the close on July 2, 2026, with split-adjusted trading in its Nasdaq-listed shares under ticker ABTC set to begin on July 6. The company said the move is intended to help restore and maintain compliance with Nasdaq’s $1 minimum bid-price requirement after the stock fell to a record low near $0.64 on Wednesday and dropped more than 64% year to date. Shareholders approved the measure at the company’s June annual meeting, the board set the ratio, and the company said the action was also disclosed in a filing referenced in the announcement. Outstanding shares are expected to fall from about 1.09 billion to roughly 73 million.
