The merchant banking firm said the hire from BSF Capital expands its Saudi Arabia build-out and follows Nawaf AlOtaibi’s recent appointment as Managing Partner and CEO of Altea Partners Saudi Arabia.
Altea Partners has appointed Ahmad AlFarabi as Partner & Chief Growth Officer, based in Riyadh, as the privately owned merchant banking firm expands its presence in Saudi Arabia. AlFarabi joins from BSF Capital, where he was Head of Investment Solutions & Advisory and led the development of the firm’s discretionary and advisory franchise. Over more than 15 years, he held senior relationship roles at Credit Suisse, Banque Saudi Fransi, and NCB, advising private clients, family offices, and institutional investors across the GCC and leading discretionary portfolio mandates, structured financing, and bespoke solutions for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The firm said the appointment follows the recent naming of Nawaf AlOtaibi as Managing Partner and CEO of Altea Partners Saudi Arabia. AlFarabi will report to AlOtaibi and oversee coverage of private clients and family offices, as well as capital formation across the region.
