Kalshi nearly doubled from more than $17 billion in May, while The Block said combined June volume for Kalshi and Polymarket reached $44.8 billion as World Cup trading lifted activity.
Kalshi's notional trading volume reached a record $32.6 billion in June, nearly doubling from more than $17 billion in May, according to KalshiData on X, which said World Cup events were the main driver. The Block separately reported that combined June trading volume across Kalshi and Polymarket totaled $44.8 billion, up 75% from $25.66 billion in May. In that breakdown, Kalshi rose from $16.81 billion to $31.5 billion, while Polymarket's main platform increased from $7.08 billion to $10.26 billion and Polymarket US climbed from $1.77 billion to $3.04 billion. The figures point to a sharp month-over-month expansion in prediction-market activity tied to a major global sporting event, while leaving a discrepancy between Kalshi's platform-specific June totals reported in separate accounts.
