On-chain analyst Specter said the address he flagged on June 15 was later linked to the Ukraine-launched 2019 project founded by Brazilian Kaze Fuziyama.
A wallet suspected of being tied to Mining Express swapped 5,004 ETH for about 8.8 million DAI roughly 16 hours before on-chain analyst Specter disclosed the move on X. Specter said he first flagged the address on June 15 and later traced it to Mining Express, a project launched in Ukraine in 2019 and founded by Brazilian Kaze Fuziyama. Records cited by the analyst show the wallet received 4,512 ETH on March 19, 2024, then staked it through Lido and Ether.fi, both staking (locking crypto to earn rewards) services, before fully unstaking on May 4, 2026. The sequence suggests the address had been actively managing Ether holdings over an extended period before converting part of that exposure into DAI, a dollar-pegged stablecoin.
