Garrett Jin increased a 2x short position in ZEC to 32,759.57 tokens, valued at about $14.9 million to $15.08 million, according to on-chain trackers EmberCN and Onchain Lens. EmberCN said the trade was first opened nine days earlier and estimated an average short price of $444, leaving the position with an unrealized loss of about $530,000. Onchain Lens identified Jin as the agent for the “1011 insider whale” and said the linked account also continues to hold a 5x Bitcoin long position with an unrealized loss of more than $16.38 million. EmberCN also highlighted Jin’s earlier ZEC gains, including $11.24 million on a $36 million ZEC short and $420,000 on a $22 million ZEC long.
