RNAi technology market seen reaching $13.63 billion by 2035, SNS Insider says

SNS Insider has released a market research report forecasting the global RNAi technology market to expand from USD 3.46 billion in 2025 to USD 13.63 billion by 2035, representing a compound annual growth rate of 14.68% during 2026-2035. The report says growth is being supported by wider use of RNA interference in drug discovery, precision medicine, functional genomics and gene-silencing research, with improving delivery technologies helping the field move into harder-to-treat areas including inherited liver conditions, cancer, eye disease and Huntington’s disease. Products accounted for the largest share of the market in 2025, supported by demand for siRNA and shRNA kits, reagents and delivery systems, while services are projected to post the fastest growth as life-sciences companies increasingly outsource custom RNAi synthesis, screening and gene knockdown work. Drug discovery and development was the leading application, generating 71.7% of 2025 revenue, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies were the largest end-use segment with 59.5% of revenue, while CROs and CMOs are expected to record the fastest expansion over the forecast period. North America held a 42.2% market share in 2025, with the U.S. contributing around 86% of regional revenue, and Asia Pacific is expected to be the fastest-growing region.
