The airport operator posted declines across most of its Mexican airports and in Jamaica, while Guadalajara and Morelia recorded growth and year-to-date traffic was down 5.6%.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. said preliminary June 2026 passenger traffic fell 5.1% from a year earlier to 4,916,500 across its 14 airports in Mexico and Jamaica, as international traffic dropped 9.1% and domestic traffic slipped 1.9%. The 12 Mexican airports operated by GAP recorded a 3.5% decline in total traffic, with Guadalajara rising 6.0% while Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Tijuana fell 18.7%, 9.7% and 4.6%, respectively. In Jamaica, Montego Bay traffic dropped 23.4% and Kingston edged down 0.8%. Year to date, total passenger traffic was 30,354,900, down 5.6% from 32,148,700, with domestic traffic down 2.4% to 17,222,800 and international traffic down 9.5% to 13,132,100. The company also said seats available in June decreased 4.9% from a year earlier, while load factors were broadly stable at 82.0% versus 82.2%, and it listed new routes including Guadalajara-Detroit, Guadalajara-Salt Lake City, Los Cabos-Las Vegas and Montego Bay-Medellin.
