The physically backed HYPE product began trading on July 7, 2026, as the Swedish crypto asset manager expands its Nordic lineup with a 0.95% annual management fee.
Virtune has launched the Virtune Hyperliquid ETP on Nasdaq Stockholm and Nasdaq Helsinki, broadening its range of regulated crypto exchange-traded products for Nordic investors. The physically backed product offers exposure to Hyperliquid's HYPE token, carries a 0.95% annual management fee, and began trading on July 7, 2026 under ticker VIRHYPE in Stockholm and VIRHYPEE in Helsinki. The issuer said the structure is designed to provide secure, transparent and cost-effective access to the asset with institutional-grade security. The Stockholm-based firm described the dual listing as part of its push to expand regulated access to digital assets. Virtune said it has more than 160,000 investors, manages approximately USD 250 million in assets under management, and holds over 90% market share for crypto ETNs on Nasdaq Nordics. CEO Christopher Kock said Hyperliquid reflects growing demand for decentralized, always-on financial markets and pointed to the project's buyback mechanism, which he said links token demand to activity on the platform. Virtune said Hyperliquid operates as a decentralized blockchain and trading platform with a fully on-chain order book (all orders recorded on blockchain code), low latency and low transaction costs. It added that the platform has become a leading decentralized venue for perpetual futures (derivatives without expiry) trading and one of the largest DeFi (decentralized finance) protocols by trading volume and protocol revenue. A portion of revenue is allocated to the Assistance Fund, which purchases HYPE on the open market, creating what Virtune described as a direct connection between platform activity and token demand. The company also highlighted HyperEVM, which is intended to support decentralized applications on the network.
