The decentralized AI protocol said the new funding lifts total capital raised above $150 million and will help expand its open superintelligence stack for more than 6,000 customers, including Ramp and Zapier.
Prime Intellect said it raised a $130 million Series A led by Radical Ventures at a $1 billion valuation, adding NVIDIA Ventures, Intel Capital, Dell Technologies Capital and existing investors to a financing that brings cumulative funding to more than $150 million. Founded in 2024, the decentralized AI protocol said the new capital will support its open superintelligence stack for more than 6,000 enterprise and startup customers, including Ramp and Zapier. The company has positioned itself at the intersection of decentralized compute and the broader AI infrastructure buildout. Prime Intellect builds a peer-to-peer GPU compute marketplace and distributed reinforcement learning infrastructure designed to train, evaluate and deploy what it calls agentic AI models across distributed GPU resources rather than a single large data center. It also emphasizes open-source model releases and verifiable compute, or cryptographic proof that a computation was completed correctly. Despite architectural similarities to tokenized compute projects such as Filecoin, Akash Network and io.net, Prime Intellect has not launched a token or points program, instead combining decentralized-style infrastructure with traditional venture financing.
