Onchain analysts said the addresses may be controlled by the same entity; one was tied to stolen Coinbase user funds and another had previously received ETH from Tornado Cash.
Two wallets identified as 0x18B...E66 and 0x565...e55 bought a combined 6,454.7 ETH using about 11.718 million DAI in same-day transactions, according to on-chain analysts Onchain Lens and Ember. Ember said one wallet linked to stolen Coinbase user funds spent 7.378 million DAI to buy 4,049.7 ETH at about $1,822, while the second spent 4.34 million DAI to acquire 2,405 ETH at about $1,804 after previously selling 4,978 ETH at $3,273 for 16.294 million DAI. Onchain Lens said the addresses appear linked to the same entity and may have been funded by a hacker, adding an illicit-finance and compliance angle to the purchases.
