Trump Media launches paid Truth API for real-time access to Truth Social posts

Trump Media & Technology Group said it will launch the paid Truth API on Aug. 1, offering licensed, real-time access to posts from 10 trending Truth Social accounts, including Donald Trump’s account, for professional users such as algorithmic and high-frequency trading firms. The company said it has signed initial customers and is onboarding more partners, pitching the product as a lower-latency alternative to scraping that could give firms faster access to market-moving social media posts, where even millisecond advantages can matter across stocks, bonds, currencies and crypto. Trump Media also said it is exploring licensing the same post data for AI model training, while the plan has intensified ethics criticism over selling faster access to a platform used for presidential communications.
