Alibaba Cloud unveils Agent Native Cloud for AI agents at WAIC 2026

Alibaba Cloud launched Agent Native Cloud, a cloud architecture for AI agents, at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2026 in Shanghai on July 18, while Alibaba also introduced MiaoWu Team Edition, an enterprise AI application creation platform focused on team collaboration and governance. Agent Native Cloud combines AgentTeams for multi-agent orchestration, Agentic Computer for secure cloud-based execution, and infrastructure features including sandbox environments, workload isolation, elastic scaling and enterprise identity integration. MiaoWu Team Edition adds unified identity management, procurement and quota control, granular permission management and team asset sharing to improve resource coordination, permission allocation and asset ownership in sectors including e-commerce, content creation and finance. Alibaba said internal deployments using 15 coordinated AI agents now handle 85% of developer support requests, reduce operational support time by 90%, and shorten software release cycles to one day.
